China vs. Qualcomm
Der US-Chiphersteller Qualcomm ist ins Visier chinesischer Kartellwächter geraten.
Die chinesischen Behörden hätten eine Untersuchung wegen Verstoßes gegen das chinesische Anti-Monopol-Gesetzes eingeleitet. Genaueres habe die Behörde nicht mitgeteilt. Qualcomm ist sich eigenen Angaben zufolge keinerlei Verletzung chinesischer Gesetze bewusst (siehe Original Statement von Qualcomm), man werde aber mit den Behörden zusammenarbeiten.

REDAKTION_ Statement von Qualcomm: Qualcomm Incorporated today reported that China’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has commenced an investigation of Qualcomm relating to the Chinese Anti-Monopoly Law (AML). The NDRC has advised that the substance of the investigation is confidential. The Company is not aware of any charge by the NDRC that Qualcomm has violated the AML. We will continue to cooperate with the NDRC as it conducts its confidential investigation.
